Why CCBO?
“During my 25 year association with CCBO I have been continuously impressed with the quality of the organization’s role and mission. CCBO more than any other professional organization reacts to the needs of membership, maintains a single focus on community college business matters, demonstrates a desire to innovate and improve, provides easy access to the leadership and operates without a political agenda. It should be your organization, too.” -Darrell Roberts, Leadership Academy Dean
“I have been affiliated with CCBO for many years. The primary attraction of the organization from the beginning has been its focus on community college business professionals. The real bonus developed through CCBO is my terrific network of community college colleagues and now good friends from around the country. CCBO provides excellent professional development opportunities. I encourage you to experience CCBO. You will not regret doing so.” -Rob Widmer, CCBO Past President, VP of Business Services, Heartland Community College
“CCBO is a 1st Class organization that I highly recommend to others. I am grateful for the timely and relevant learning experience with the academy and other professional development opportunities offered by CCBO. High quality programming, reasonable cost, and dynamic speakers are a few of the many benefits of CCBO.” -Brenda Leonard, Associate VP, Auditing Services & Reporting, Compliance & Audit, Central Piedmont Community College
“CCBO has been invaluable to me as I have progressed through my career in a community college. I participated in the first Leadership Academy and the skills I learned helped me as I moved from Controller to Chief Business Officer. Being selected as a regional Outstanding Business Officer recognized my work achievements. Having served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of CCBO has further enhanced my leadership skills and provided me the opportunity to network with community college leaders from across the country and Canada.” -Susan Clough, CCBO Past President, VP Administration & Finance, Morgan Community College
